It is quite likely that the bird does have either PBFD or Polyoma infection. There is no medical treatment but about 20% - 30% spontaneously self- cure.

But from what I read in your messages, it seems to be getting worse. I am afraid that those that don't recover usually succumb within a few months to 2-3 years.
