Umm, actually, to tell you the truth, he doesn't look like a brown velvet to me. Brown velvets are crossed from Beige and Black velvets, so they should have the mask and paw splats (hope I spelt correctly). I upload a pic of a brown velvet for you to see. This one is show quality one, so you can try to imagine the pet quality one. Maybe a little bit darker or lighter. The main thing is, the brown mask is very obvious due to the black velvet blood.
I once fostered a brown velvet. He was a real sweet fellow but poor quality chin. His colour is nice, with a strong mask and stripes on his paws. But his conformation very lousy. I don't have pics of him, else I show you.
