I can't think of anything specifically bad about African Greys; they do make some high pitch noise much like many other parrot species but it's of a more acceptable level. Lots of interaction with your parrot will reduce this.

They are best known for their ability to mimic. Very sensitive and loving. Easy to raise and tame.
