furthermore genes determine their colour their traits and also their characteristic and health issue.. to depend on genes for lifespan is too vague..
what i think is if you are a good owner ur hamster will live longer on what they eat and their environment..

That is you think only.. I am a winter white breeder.. Mine Aguoti Winter white all live up to 3 year nearly 4.. But from the few pudding i rescue, they only live up to 8 month most.. THey may look healty to you.. But their hidden defect genes cant be seen from your eye.. And if you think you are a good owner, you shouldn't even be breeding and selling hydrid hamster as that will bring harm to pure campbell and pure Winter White.. Dont you know that some country DONT HAVE ANY PURE BREED ANYMORE!!!!
