major Mitchell's Cockatoo

Hi everyone,

Saw a couple of Mj. Mitchell's Cockies at GW and Chua's Pets past weekends and wonder if anyone of our accomplised breeders managed to breed this beautiful bird. Don't really know how it cost 'cos the shops said they were for export. Any comments please?

Those parrots are already matured and can be used for breeding only. They are priced around $8k each. So far locally I had not heard of any breeders successfully bred them.

Yeah i expected them to be priced around there.Yup these birds look matured and can give u a nasty bite! =). I guess they are tough to breed or maybe just loud, like most cockatoos. but never the less very pretty birds.
