Thailand...

Just back from Thailand and went to some very interesting place.
This is a farm that breeds hybrid macaws and some rare parrots.

Amazing!!!!

Wah!! Really an eye operner to witness the cage setup and the amount of space the parrots are given for breeding and to live in it!!!!

For those whos planning to go with Silvanus this june for the thailand trip pleeeeeeasssssssse do take lots of pictures and videoclips (whenever and wherver permitted) n share with us who are stucked in spore working ... Sob!!!! Silvanus thanks for the updates and sharing!!! Wat other rare parrots u saw quick quick dun shy share share la... :-)

My Thai counterpart knew my interest in hybrid macaws and specially arranged this visit for me. This will be one of the farms that we will visit in June too. The owner had spent a huge sum of money in building the cages and also security in the farm. He had bred lots of Catalina, MiliGold and famous for his Camelots. Infact I was only a few days late to see his last Camelot chick. The 6 month old chick was sold for almost $15K!
