Help needed for 2/3 months.

hi guys,

I have 2 lovely cats,1 a scottish fold & a local cat.
My wife n myself love these 2 alot but unfortunately we need someone to help us look after them for abt 2 or 3 months during my wife's confinement period cos I'm afraid the cats will affect the baby.We will provide d food everything.I have ask ard the pet's hotel but it's very costly. So I really hope any cats lover willing to take care or any other suggestions?

Ewan

do any of you have asthma?
many people have lived with their cats during and after pregnancy and all is fine. the issue here is toxoplasmosis. what you should do is take your cats to the vet to determine if they carry it. if not, no worry. basic hygiene is what counts. you should handle the litter tray instead of your wife. as long as you wash your hands after playing with the cats it will be okay. remember a new baby in the house is equivalent to a new cat--from a cat's viewpoint. you will have to introduce the baby to your cats. b4 u take baby home from hospital rub a towel onto baby and allow your cats to sniff it at home. dont let the cats into the baby room initially. i'm sure you can work this out.
