Red face help

please help me my gerbils going bald from where shes been chewing on her metal cage.should i get a new cage or let her where away her shin please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You keep geri in a metal cage? Erm... since day one? Did you know that metal cages are never ever suitable for gerbils?

You should be using either a plastic tank or a glass aquarium. She is hurting herself by going bald, I bet it is her nose area rite? Change to a tank or aquarium.

what type of cage should i have ive got a gerbilarium but she doesnt chew wood block she ches the meatal cage

No cage. Never use a cage. Get a glass aquarium. I already mentioned it.

Gerbils and other small animals like to chew the bars because of the metallic taste... if it rust, it can poison them in the long run. Change to an aquarium, then you should have no problems.
