actually, i dont know also, haven check much on the softbills, more to the parrot side for me yea ? haha. most birds can be cuddled given the proper training and familiarity with the handler, depends on individual birds too !

beautiful bird! I understand that last time this type of bird can be purchase from bird shops .. but now it is banned from selling liao.. is that the case?
that is what I heard from the bird shop.. but they say there is no problem to keep one of this bird.. as the ban is on selling, not on owning one please advise |

This is a Swainson's Toucan, CITES II softbill, it can be sold, purchased and kept. Depends on what species the bird is. Any bird which is CITES I cannot be be sold for commercial means. Hornbills are banned because most of em are in the category CITES I or otherwise known as Appendix I.
