Meet YingShiong the shama

I now have a shama called YingShiong

The link is in Tinkerbell webpage. I do not think
she will mind it.

In a way, YingShiong is a gift from
Tinkerbell to me. I am keeping a blog
on Yingshiong. That URL take you only
to the first page. Click on 'next day'
to continue to read more.

Douglas,

Try to learn a bit more before you talk. Do you even know what
the weight of a shama is?

Have you ever weighed your shama?

No?

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaa

To the rest of you guys,

You have seen that two months ago, I knew nothing about shama birds other than shama is the most shy and most timid of aviary bird and had never kept shama in my life.

Yingshiong is an old shama as well, not a young bird with the best chances of being tamed or trained or to bond with.

I believe all that you need is the understanding and the respect for your birds and creatures to do what I have done or to do even more than what I have done.

I chose not to be the Master but as an equal with my bird, whether the bird is Tinkerbell or YingShiong.

You decide if I gained, or if I lost in the exchange.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

YS graduation from flight room to apartment. You see
YS flying to touch target. YS flying to my finger on
pure recall (no waving of food) when cued. Last
sequence showed YS in flurry of wings and legs but
cheating as he did not touch target

Best to use slideshow at 1.6 seconds

YS more graduation photos

On Saturday Dec 10th, I managed to persuade Yingshiong to
tolerate
my wife Joy inside the flight room to take photos of
us
together.

The shots taken are better than the one I had taken.

There were three sequences of pure recall taken by Joy
standing behind me.

Use slide show at 1.6 to 2 seconds timing

If that is the same Douglas from another pet forum, then you ought to get used to it.

Not everyone has mutual respect or self-respect in the first place.

Great patience with your shama and it must take a lot of time. Possible if you do not have many birds, work full hours and have much free time on your hands.

ecchua,

Thank you.

You will need more than just time and patience. First and foremost,
you cannot be Master, and they as Pets.

I hope to avoid Douglas embarrassing himself further.

I may be the only one who trained a shama to fly to a weighing scale to be weighed. And that was done as the first step of training. At any rate, the daily blog on Yingshiong speak for itself.

Anyone who read that blog will know Douglas had no clue of whatever he tried to insinuate.
