Chin Books

Hello! I am a newbie in chins. I am planning to get my 1st chin soon... Recently, I have been to MPH, Kino and Borders. But, they don't have many books on chins. Can anyone recommend me some good books about chins? I would like to learn more about this lovely chins.... Thanks!

There are 2 very good books on chinchillas, however they are not available in S'pore.

1) The Joy of Chinchilla.
2) After Forty Years... Alice Kline Talks About Chinchilla

Anyway, there a lot of informations on the web that you can read up, some are really very good.

Here's a few :
Califonia Chins
Chins & Quills
Etc.com - Chin
MCBA
Chinchilla Sounds
Fur Quality
Huggable Pets - Pics on removing fur ring
Color Mutations

Of coz there are many other sites out there, happy reading & searching.

Well, if you really wanna get any book, just get the "The Joy of Chinchilla". The one by Alice Kline is too technical. This was the advise given to me by Weng(one of the breeder here, he was member of MCBA)

Actually I had a browse on that "The Joy of Chinchilla", the contents can be found on most websites though not all, hence, I felt that the price is kind of expensive after shipment for the contents

Anyway, the choice is yours. Good luck in your search and hope you get a good bargain, but well, chin.com leh...let me know if you got the book...
