To Prevent....

Hi,Guys...as to wat i know dat,it's common for Golden Retriever to have hips problem...any idea how to prevent it from happening or anything we should fed them???Really wanna know...Thanks guys in advance...

I think you can get the vet to x-ray your GR to see what are the chances of it getting hip dysplasia.

Do a search for "Hip Dysplasia" on the net and I am sure you'll get more than you need. Anyway it's a hereditary desease and not likely that you'll cure your dog completely of it. Medical intervention can be costly and long drawn. The best prevention is to buy from a good source that stress on good breeding and a hip xray before they sell.
