Our Honorary Member, Tam Weng Keong's chin

I'm totally a newbie in chin and is really an eye opener when I visited Weng Keong today. He housed his chins in a "modified" balcony with 2 aircon blowers, air purifier and dehumidifier.

A specially custom made carrier can use to house as many as 12 chins.

Wow, so many chins. I do not have a chin now and after looking through the pictures, I think I'll get one when I have my own place with more space Really beautiful chins!

You have to remember that my my chins are descended from animals that were specifically bred for fur quality and so their thick plush fur is a function of genetics.

That being said I do believe that air conditioning is needed for chins. They are native to the Andes mountains and are used to lower temperatures and lower humidity levels.

Do you let the aircon on 24hrs all the time or allow some fresh air in occasionally? I have a balcony that I can always turn to a chin's room next time I keep chin. Your design has given me some inspiration. I always love violets
