It all started back in 2002 after seeing several rays swimming in a LFS.
That very weekend, I went out and got myself a 4 feet juwel tank; later that day, a humble motoro was swimming. 1 month later, I ordered a 6.5x2.5x2 feet tank with sump & cabinet.
Tank arrival on a Saturday, did the set up the whole day, including plants & gravel. Sunday morning motoro when in, Sunday afternoon my first arrow VFSR entered my tank together with a PDR……

Started collecting rays all over Singapore & soon found out that my tank is too small. After 6 months, I decided to build a ray pond on my backyard.

After 3 years, my rays (PRDs) started to breed, which took off with several article about me & my hobby, along with several interviews including local, Canadian, & Taiwanese journalist regarding my rays collection.

Today, I am doing QC & reviewing my collection to collect only the best for my breeding program.
My new plan is to keep 6 PDRs & 6 Tigers Rays to complete my collection.

Here are some references about me:

The thought of creating a Certificate for my rays similar to the once issued to arowanas soon took off with the designing, certifying, & printing of these limited collections. My intention was to brand my rays locally with quality, & steadiness to give assurance to my humble customers / supporters.
Every ray sold will be subjected to a 1 month quarantine period before collection.
Each Ray will be documented, with 4 pictures (front / top / tail / bottom), serial number, & sex.
Their serial No is base on their date of birth followed by a running order number.
A batch number helps monitor the total birth rate & the number of puppies at each birth.

Actively involve in chat forums, I rapidly expended my knowledge on the hobby & made many friends by advising, and sharing my knowledge on rays as best I can. Till today, I am still learning & I don’t think I will ever stop.

With a final thought in mind, I wish to thank all my friends, supporters, chat forums that have help me out from the beginning to till today. Looking forward to many good breeding years ahead & hope to see some tiger pups soon

RESPECTFULLY
ELTON SEAH
