Join me at Rainforest World Music Festival(Lots of pictures)
The Rainforest World Music Festival is a unique festival that brings together on the same stage renowned world musicians from all continents and indigenous musicians from the interiors of the mythical island of Borneo. Its formula of afternoon informative workshops, ethno-musical lectures, jamming sessions and mini concerts, followed by evening performances on the main stage has proven to be a hit with the audience, who come from near and far. The festival site also sets up a variety of food and drink stalls, an arts and crafts area as well as a counter for festival memorabilia, Sarawak souvenirs and CDs by the performing artists, all this contributing to a fun filled, wholesome festival experience. World Music plus a country fair atmosphere in the midst of lush greenery. The Rainforest World Music Festival, a not-to-be-missed occasion, guarantees a smashing time in the heart of the Borneo Jungle ! This year I'm very honoured to be invited by my counterpart Mr Leo Pui of MG-K9 in Miri, Sarawak to be part of the event. Our role is to oversee the security for the whole event. The security team at the Rainforest World Music Festival (RWMF) this year includes nine security patrol dogs including a drug detection dog. Apart from the nine canines, the security team also includes 60 personnel. I will be there from 9-15 July 2008, anyone that is interested to meet me there do drop me a PM.

This year the event was very successful and the Malaysian Prime Minister Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi was the Guest of Honour on the first night of the 3 days event.
