How To Choose Good Jambul From Ladung?

Hi all experts out there,

I am a newbie here and just started to keep jambul. I enjoy keeping new/ladung birds.

What shall we look for when choosing a ladung bird? A lot of ppl say look at the crest, neck ring, the red whiskers, the standing posture. Any better definition?

Please advise.

Apologies.

Hi Ah Peow,
I just saw your message - been very busy.

See my Avatar - His name is APACHE -that's the type of Jambol u need to have -he's above average & has been with me since 2000 and has won me too many trophies with lots of top 6.

Above all - the bird MUST have lots of guts, scared of ppl is OK but must be fearless of birds.

If u need more info - call me 90600793 - best is after work - 6+ to 7 pm.

PS: Ladong birds and new birds take alot of work and it may be many years b4 they come up and if u are young n hv lots of time - then this is the way to go but if u are like me - then pls have at least $500 to 1,500 to pick out a good potential bird. Apache even before his 1st trophy cost me $1,200.
