We are still not bring in kitty food at the moment cos' we would need to do more research 1st. Dun want to bring in food without knowing if the ingredients are beneficial to the pets or not. Could you enlighten me on the ingredients of cat food? What ingredients are good & what are bad ingredients for cats? Thanks a lot. Last edited by huihui : 16-Sep-2005 at 12:54 AM. |

frankly there are a lot of bad when it comes to dry food.
corn- cats dont digest it in any way..organic/gm free/fit for human consumption etc byproducts- not enuff protein requirement to feed a cat. as long as there is real chicken meat/beef etc as the FIRST ingredient, this can still be over looked. ethoxyquin/bha/bht-preservatives. a no no. soya/wheat-the less grain the better. however grain like rice is still not too bad. as long as it isnt the primary ingredient of the food. beet pulp- a common filler in cat kibbles. an ideal food wld be without all of these..which prob means it has to be a prepared diet. most dry foods have at least two of these..so we cant hope for much.. but i'd be happy with a food that doesnt have corn and too much grain and veg(animal protein is not substitutable with veg protein..can result in stinky poop) |

hi huihui
by comparing what heartkiel had stated ... you will find in fact majority brands in Singapore market now are more or less the same ... with filler and usually those good brands .... they dun hv filler and expensive and no preservatives and guess what the shelf life span also shorten so is really hard to get them in Singapore. I shall not go into this .... keep this thread only solely for your promo and Q & A. ![]()

Huihui,
My 2 dogs love the treats very much and from the ingredient content, I strongly believe this is a very healthy treat for dogs. Thanks Silvanus
