How to make the tail better?

Your commitment and kindness to others should do your grooming skill a hand up already. Your fish are lucky to have some one who does care about learning how to take care of them properly.

I also have to keep improve my grooming skill. I am still a novice and have a long way to go. I was recently scolded by my Japanese colleagues for some of the things I was doing to my fish, so do not think that you are alone out there. There are a lot of us who are also working hard along with you too. Work hard and see you at the Show in December.
