Singapore Ornamental Fish Festival 2008 -- Goldfish, Betta and Guppy Competition

FYNNMOOD is going to host the second goldfish festival in Oct 2008.
This time it would be a combined competition with the Singapore Betta and Guppy Clubs, to give the hobbyist more varieties. Serangoon CC will be having an open house big event.

Venue : Serangoon CC, similar to the first Festival
Confirmed date : 9 - 12 Oct 2008
Competition size : 120 to 180 tanks

So get your fish ready, show your grooming skills. To avoid disappointment due to the limited tanks allotment, for those early birds who wants to submit the entry early can use the first festival form.

Glossary:

*AOC = Any Other Color or pattern not given it’s own class – emphasis will be on Form/Finnage
*Dark Iridescent = Blue, Green, Turquoise or Steel
*Bicolor = fins of one color and body of another color, ideally of contrasting colors
*Metallic Dark-bodied = copper, copper black etc
*Metallic Light-bodied = platinum, gold etc

Dates to Note:Benching in: 9th October - 5 to 7 pm
Judging: 10th October - morning
Benching out: 12 October - 5 to 7 pm

*Major Prizes:Grand Champion: S$500 + Trophy
*Division Champions: S$100 + Trophy
*Class First and Second: Trophy Electronic entry forms will be available from the BCS website: bettaclub.org.sg

*1 Wild bettas must be identified by scientific name stated in the “Label/Remarks” field
*2 Each entry shall consist of 1 male and 1 female (enter as 1 entry in the entry form)
*3 Wild betta entries must be adult specimens
