Adorable Male Kitten to Good Home!

Status: For Adoption

Breed: Local

Name: Ziggy (can change if you want LoL)

Age: 6 weeks old

Gender: Male

Spayed/Neutered: No but I would like the new owner to neuter him when he is old enough. Am willing to share part of the neuter cost.

Reason for Being Given Up: Not my kitten. I already have 2 cats. More than enough to handle.

Good with Dogs: Ok with my corgi. He is not afraid of her and will try to play with her.

Good with other animals: Not very good with other cats. But that's maybe cos my 2 cats are territorial so they don't like him.

Cat's Temperament: Good in general, friendly with people, extremely playful and active.

Cat's Problems: Likes to play-bite and scratch. But these energies can be diverted into appropriate toys and activities, with enough attention and training for him.

Ideal Owner: Someone who does not have too many other cats, or has 1 friendly, laid-back cat who maybe open to having a kitten friend.

Ideal Home: Would prefer non-HDB if possible. But if no choice, please make the cat a 100% indoor cat. If the new owner stays in HDB, pls do NOT let the kitten wander about the neighbourhood alone.

Other information: Loves wet food, doesn't like dry food. Am trying to switch him to dry food slowly. I will vaccinate him in 2 weeks time. His official time to leave my place is after 8 weeks old. After that, his new owner must follow up on his vaccinations and neuter op. I found him in Geylang Lorong 23. He had feline flu back then, but after being treated by the vet and medicated, he has recovered. He is now full of life and energy and exhausting me at the same time cos I can't keep up with him.

I really hope to find him a good home. He is very cute and loveable but I cannot keep anymore pets in my current place. The new adopter has no obligations to pay for anything that I forked out for him (which is actually quite alot including the vet fees), I just want him well-taken care of in his new home. I will post up his photos soon.

Update:
Hai, pls don't close this thread. Ziggy has come back to me. The adopter said she cannot handle his high energy level and rambunctious character, even though we have mentioned that he needs corrective training and handling.

Ziggy bit her housemate and drew a scratch that bled. So they don't want him anymore. No offense intended, it's just that I feel that it's possible to teach him that hands and feet are off limits for him to bite and scratch. My own cat was like that when she was a kitten but she has mellowed with age and nurturing.

Anyway, as I have mentioned right from the start, this kitten needs to be taught to REDIRECT his biting and scratching to cat posts and toys. I hope to find an adopter who is very experienced with cats and knows that active kittens can be taught to play with the right objects. He is not deformed or backward just cos of his active character. He is still very affectionate with people and very healthy.

I hope he can find a new forever home soon.

--------------------------------------------------

He is still quite active, but has mellowed a bit. I'll be sending him for sterilization in Jan and his 2nd vaccination. Am still trying to find a good home for him. Everyone, do help me spread the word, as I cannot keep him much longer. I might be moving house again.

His 2nd vacc is done. He will only be sterilized at 5-6 months old as he is considered too young now. I will definitely be moving house. Pls let me know if anyone wishes to adopt him. Thanks.
