Ok...thanks. Speaking of water, they don't drink that much. I have a guinea pig sized water bottle so maybe they are drinking but I just don't notice because gerbils don't drink as large amounts as guinea pigs.

Ahh... that's a big bottle. Well, they won't drink so much. Still, it is good to get some greens into their diet.

So now i've had my gerbils for like a month. They've become very outgoing. I also have found that they like cucumbers very much. I also have replaced they're old plastic hamster house with a chewable wood hamster/gerbil house. So far they seem very happy. Thanks for all of your advice and help Crazymouse yyh.

I have also discovered that my gerbils love chewing cardboard to bits. I usually give them a small piece of cardboard each day. It keeps them happy

Gerbils like to gnaw on things, this prevent them from getting bored too. But it also means putting plastic accessories in your tank may mean that it will be gone.
