I want to try my hand at some nice TVRs but before i do that, I'd like some advice.

-What sort of specifications do i need to adhere to for the filter system?

-What should i take note of in particular?

-How do i treat the water before i put the fish in?

-How deep should the tank be? And how long? I'm looking to eventually put in 9 TVRs.

-must the tank be of a certain colour? Does it make a difference?

-I always face a problem with water temperature. It seems like my water is too cold as it is always around 25 degrees or below as it is out of the sun, and the system it is in makes the water travel a distance so that water is cooled even further. What is the optimum temperature for keeping them? Would submerged lights inside the tank help?

-i know green water is good but my tank won't be in sunlight...so what can i do to improve my gfs life?

-what type of food should they be fed on?
