Yup, manga is japanese comics. Not mango lah, not a fan of that brand. However, i only read those that are translated into japanese.I used to buy 10 to 20 a week, but after the price went up, and the number of pets i have increased, i have reduced it to 4 a month, max.

To save enough for their upkeep, i do not eat in school. Hence, the full $10 of my allowance goes to them. I pay for the electricity bill which can sometimes come up to 400 - the consumption is high as the air con is old. Hence i have to change it.

I still travel every year but i get my aunt to take care of them. I pay for my pets upkeep but anything that i can't afford, i borrow. Hence, i am always in debt.

As for their new cages, the design is still not finalised as i still need to do loads of modifications. I am still looking around for a suitable contractor/manufacturer etc. I'm thinking of whether i should have a small sticker that says "contributed by grandfather" written on it. Lolz.

Most of my pets are paid for by me with the exception of my first shipment of holland lops and my 1st chinchilla. All others came from my savings.

I think my family is supportive as all of us grew up with pets. My parents and other family members grew up with chickens, monkeys, dogs, cats, other birds etc.

I wish I was as lucky as you, cos for me I started by paying for my first rabbit. Unfortunately, the fellow passed on 1 week after going home with me. Due to diarrhoea, as my mum was feeding it fresh veg all the way when I was not around!!!! !@#$%^&*()

But I have learnt since then, and now at least they dun KO so easily.
